GOLD Introduction
Grease One-Way Logistics and Distribution
The GOLD Dispensing System allows you to conveniently, cleanly, and efficiently dispense grease from ExxonMobil’s bulk grease disposable container. This innovative bulk container system addresses the cost, contamination, safety issues, and hassle sometimes associated with traditional metal or plastic totes and drums.
ExxonMobil is offering select Exxon and Mobil greases in an amazingly durable, flexible, multi-layered disposable container that holds 1800 lbs of grease. This technology has been used successfully in Europe for over ten years. Grease is discharged from the container through the GOLD Dispensing system.
How you can benefit:
Return freight costs are eliminated - No messy totes to clean, repair, or return. The collapsible container is used once and then easily disposed of and consists of non-toxic materials and components
Less waste - completely collapsible design of the GOLD Bag leaves behind less grease than a typical drum, yet holds the equivalent of 4.5 drums, thanks to the GOLD Dispensing System that stretches the bag when discharging. Residual levels as low as 0.5%
Clean grease - since the closed system prevents contact with air and contaminants product quality is protected. Product is filled under vacuum, eliminating air pockets that can hinder ability to pump grease from traditional totes
Cost savings - less residual product, less product loss due to contamination, return freight elimination for returnable totes, no drum disposal costs, reduced labor costs
Ease of use - elimination of drum handling and related safety issues

Instructional Video
Utilize the attached instructional video on your laptop or your customer's computer to demonstrate the simple and effective operational aspects of the GOLD system. The GOLD package style and dispensing system is a new concept for the Americas; this video will help provide a quick instructional overview of how this system works. The video should also be used during installation to provide guidance to the plant personnel responsible for the systems operation. Run time is approximately 2 minutes.
